2010 One Church One School Conference
In the wake of the increasing violence in many communities throughout the country,
One Church One School (OCOS), a national organization headquartered in Chicago, Illinois, is announcing its 15th Annual Partnership Conference on October 21 - 22, 2010 at the Hilton Hotel in Jackson, Mississippi.
The conference calls for all members of its faith based community and school network to apply the teaching and practices of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Six Principles of Nonviolence. The six principles address (1) courage, (2) friendship, (3)defeat of injustice, (4) suffering that transforms and educates, (5) love and (6) a belief that the universe is on the side of justice.
